No two students are the same, so I like to be open to/up-to-date on various learning styles/techniques and get to know my students so I can determine which method is best in order to meet their needs.

I find great value in a learner-centered approach. I love to have a class where everyone feels comfortable and participates, asks questions, feels understood, doesn't fear mistakes, (mistakes part of the learning process too!), and where we all learn from one another!

In my opinion, a successful class has good content, great conversation and is interactive. I want to see each student display their knowledge, life-experiences, and personal creativity in learning!
