I am a caring, aproachable teacher. I like to gain the confidence of my students and find out what really drives them. My teaching method falls into more of a communicative approach. Learning English is not only about having fun (which is neccesary, indeed), but also about communicating to satisfy needs and get things done. So, I find it really convenient to teach my students tips, phrases and structures that they can actually use in everyday interactions while at school, at work, in a shopping center... when hanging out with friends, etc

I tend to focus so much on pronunciation as well, so I will be constantly giving tips on how to sound smoother and more native-like while speaking. We will certainly achieve this by drilling on proper articulation, tongue placement, sonority of vowels and consonants, connected speech among other phonetic criteria.

We will be learning quite a bit of vocabulary, but always in a given CONTEXT, since this has been proven to be the most effective way to learn it.
